HAHAHA. well. hello my death day.

rarrr. i woke up at like 7.10. (wayyyy tooo early in my opinion) cause i was scared i would be late for work.
turns up. i reached town at like 810! 50MINS EARLY. hahaha.
then the morning, the prof and doc had an op in mt e. so it was quite slack. i pretty much had nothing to do, but just learn where all the different stuff were, and fold and pack gauze. hahaha.
yeah. then i was very hungry, so i went for lunch at 12. i finished lunched by 12.15! then i went to look at all the shops for the rest of the 45 mins. hahaha
i was so tempted to buy things. but i restrained. i shall go taka tmr. hopefully it doesn't rain!

haha, so at 1 i went back to the clinic, and helped here and there wherever, there still wasn't much to do, cause everyone else was eating their lunch!

at 2, the real stuff began. haha
(i'll start using the ppl's initials or something.)
kat showed me some stuff about implants and amalgam. quite interesting to learn that you have to mix mercury with dunno what in 1-1 ratio, if not the filling will be too dry/ too wet.
then, after that, there was a patient who had to do ct scan (i dunno what it stands for yet.) and wanted to do implants to hold up dentures. THERE WERE LIKE 10 HOLES TO FILL! i got to learn how to fill them! like, try filling up 1 hole, but cause it was my first time (the thing was called GP - i don't rmb the whole long word thinggo.) i was taking too long, and the patient was alr impatient! hahaha, so carl did the rest after letting me do 1. haha its quite fun. other than having to do 10 at 1 go like IMMEDIATELY! so stressful!
haha, then after that, we let the patient wear the denture and took an xray!
then it was so crowded. prof had so many patients all back-to-back. like overlap! i bet the patients had to wait 1h each or something, cause each patient's time kept delaying.

then there was a few general checkups and stuff, i didn't really get to see their xrays and stuff, cause i was too stressed up trying not to mess things up. hahaha. like 'fill the cup when its empty', 'on the rinse button when they're gurgling'. 'give them tissue to dry their mouth' etc. and yeah. ahah just trying to be quick to pick up on things, and doing what the prof wants. like 'pass me the skull' -- HAHAHA. its a plastic skull (he had to say that to the patient every single time he asked for the skull) so funny.

anyway. yeah, then one patient, i had to clip on the napkin thinggo (its called a bib actually), then i clipped wrongly! i clipped the person to the chair's neck! i felt so mahlu. hahaha. cause i didnt' see whats wrong at first, till the prof said ' how you expect the patient to move like that?' (well, he was being nice about it, not scolding me. but still! i was so scared after that i was stunned for awhile!)

hahaha. okay, well, overall. i rate today 7/10. cause i got to learn new stuff and try new stuff and eat nice food AND BUY CHOCOLATES!
i wanna buy shoes! hopefully i see something nice.
OH and i dunno what to wear tmr =(

i have to start answering interview qns to myself! =( i finished reading 1 bk, but it was quite useless.


rar. okay i think i shall go sleep now. i'm tired. i gave 1h's tuition, and it felt so short!hahah like we did only 2 questions of math (with a lot of parts) but oh wells.
REMINDER TO SELF: make a copy of the ln / lg rules thinggo, and when + can x.

hahahaha my dad is watching desperate housewives.
